LSS Regional Support Specialist
Duties:
  • Work in litigation practice area providing support and technical assistance for new and existing litigation software. 

  • Will coordinate and work on multiple litigation case matters.

  • Responsible for completing project assignments including support, training, documenting, researching and testing.

  • Act as liaison between IS departments to provide tech support of LSS systems

  • Work with case teams in use of trial software applications, set-up/logistics of trial sites and courtroom; and preparation of materials hearings and trials; troubleshoot issues as they arise with litigation case teams, systems and technologies. 

  • Regular travel to regional offices and client sites to support LSS systems.

  • Work with attorneys on current projects and new and existing applications

  • Create documentation for litigation practice area systems

  • Provide support (admin and technical) for LSS applications including:  JFS Applications, Record File, Events & Players, Trial Director, Lotus Approach and LiveNote.

  • Assist in assessing performance and evaluation of LSS applications

  • Assist in testing and roll-out of new applications and upgrades.

  • Train IS staff and users on all LSS applications as needed.

  • Assist in the further automation of litigation area tasks.

Requirements:
  • Large law firm experience required

  • 4+ yrs IS and Litigation support experience

  • Project management experience

  • LSS supported software application experience and knowledge of standard law firm applications.

  • In-depth technical skills with litigation practice automation systems

  • MS Office Suite experience and Windows environment familiarity

  • Ability to train and work with technical and non-technical staff

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Team player with good communication skills

  • Strong Analytical skills
