Requirements:

• 8 years experience with 24x7 data center systems
• Experience with BGP; at least 50 Mbps traffic in previous position
• Established track record of high availability for mission-critical web-based services or carrier networks
• Must know high-availability environments for network systems inside and out.
• 5 years of experience in mission-critical data-center environments
• Self starter
• Capable of building and running system son own, but work well in team environment as well.
• History of creating initiatives to improve service availability.

Duties:

• Maintain data center network equipment - routers, switches, firewalls
• Regularly review health of network and ensure optimal operation
• Assess IOS upgrades and keep equipment on supported versions
• Establish, document and deploy processes for all network equipment in data center for carrier-class availability
• Configure load balancers within and across data center failovers.
• Responsible for all network systems in the data center and development/QA environments
